The family office of a major hedge fund investor wanted to gauge the earnings prospects of the major digital ad platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Google and Amazon - with exclusive insights from ad agencies that have the power to move the market.
Congruity recruited a group of 10 senior agency directors, responsible for digital ad spending on behalf of F500 brands, for in-depth interviews on their actual spend for each platform in 2018 and their plans for 2019.
Our research indicated a clear preference for two of the six platforms measured, with two mixed and the remainder out of favor among major brand advertisers. Our client used these results to inform their family office’s investment strategy.
